2024 PBA Players Championship | Episode 1: We’re Back
Hey everyone! Today was quite a rollercoaster of a day, from starting off in sunny weather by the pool to facing a sudden freeze and hitting the lanes for the Players Championship. I wanted to share with you all the exciting and slightly nerve-wracking journey I had today at the PBA Tour. Let’s dive right into it!
Starting the Day in Paradise, Ending in a Chill
I kicked off the day reminiscing about the wonderful time I had a couple of days ago, basking in the summer heat. Fast forward to today, and there’s snow on the ground! As I prepared for the Players Championship, I couldn’t help but feel the excitement and nerves creeping in.
A Rollercoaster on the Lanes
Battling the Elements
Despite the freezing temperatures, the anticipation to compete in the tournament was soaring. I always love the rush of adrenaline, lacing up my shoes, and feeling the essence of competition as I step onto the PBA Tour lanes.
Striking it Big
The first game started off a bit shaky, but I quickly found my rhythm, ending with a strong 256 score. While facing some challenges with ball choices and lane conditions, I managed to stay steady in subsequent games, finishing with a solid 148 over for the first six games.
Off-Lane Adventures
As I took a break between sets, I had the pleasure of having a delightful afternoon texting my daughters, each with their unique and endearing messages. It truly lifted my spirits, setting the stage for the upcoming games.

As the day progressed, I encountered fluctuating performance, encountering high and low scores, and battling through the ever-changing lane conditions.
