I joined the PBA Tour during the 2008/09 season after competeing around the world for almos 10 years. I was fortunate enough to have success early in my career, winning my first pro title (The Bowling Foundation Long Island Classic) in only my 8th event and that win earned my a PBA Tour exemption to compete as a part of the exempt field.
Each year I have been on tour, my goal was to improve my world ranking by at least one place. Every season I have maganged to do that and now I am currently the number 1 ranked bowler in the world.
Bowling on the Pro Tour is very different to competing in any other tour in the world. The bowlers on tour are the best in the world. They repeat better than any and are also the smartest players in the world. Bowling in this arena is as close to gladiator bowling as it gets. One wrong move and your opponents eat you alive.
In 2008/09 I won the Rookie of the Year and have now become just one of 5 people in PBA history to have added the Player of the Year award along with the Rookie of the Year award.
I joined an elite group to have also bowled a PBA televised 300 game and introduced the bowling world with Google Glass while competing.
With my win at the Oklahoma Open during the 2014 Summer Swing, I became the 2nd fastest pro bowler to win 10 titles (in just 80 events). The only guy in front of me, Hall of Famer and bowling icon Dick Weber who won 10 of his first 23 events.
The PBA Tour is the Mount Everest of the bowling world and currently I am standing at the very top. A dream I have since I was a boy, has now become a reality and I will work as hard as I can to stay at the top of the mountian for as long as humanly possible.
